Summary

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to revise Standard Form 1406, Preaward Survey of Prospective Contractor--Quality Assurance, by removing references to canceled specifications and aligning the form's language with the current quality assurance guidance in the FAR. This rule was not subject to review under Executive Order 12866, dated September 30, 1993, and is not considered a major rule under 5 U.S.C. 804.
