Central Liquidity Facility to Allow Credit Unions to Use Specific Assets as Collateral

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is issuing a rule that allows the National Credit Union Central Liquidity Facility to take a first priority security interest in specific assets of credit unions with a net book value of at least 110% of the amounts owed on the Facility advance or Agent loan, providing greater flexibility for credit unions while ensuring the Facility's protection.
