North Pacific Fishery Management Council Submits Amendments to Groundfish Fishery Management Plan

Summary

The North Pacific Fishery Management Council has submitted two amendments to the Groundfish Fishery Management Plan, which would extend allocations for pollock and Pacific cod processing in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Area and Gulf of Alaska through December 31, 1998, and continue the Western Alaska Community Development Quota program for an additional 3 years.
