NHTSA Grants Petition for Convex Rear View Mirrors on Stepvans and Service Trucks

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has approved a petition from Mr. Dee Norton to consider requiring convex cross-view mirrors on the left rear top corner of cargo boxes on stepvans and walk-in style delivery and service trucks, a move aimed at reducing fatalities and injuries, particularly among children under five and the elderly.
