Porsche Granted Petition for Modification of Antitheft Device

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has approved Porsche's request to modify its previously approved antitheft device for the 911 car line, starting with the 1998 model year, due to the device's effectiveness in reducing motor vehicle theft.
