ATF to Allow Importation of Pre-1994 Ammunition Feeding Devices for Commercial Sale

Summary

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has temporarily amended regulations to permit the importation of ammunition feeding devices with a capacity of more than 10 rounds manufactured before September 13, 1994, for general commercial sale in the United States. The temporary rule, which will remain in effect until superseded by final regulations, also provides guidance on acceptable evidence for imported devices.
