Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Child Restraint Systems - Labeling Requirements Amendment
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has updated the labeling requirements for rear-facing infant restraint systems in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 213, Child Restraint Systems, in response to petitions for reconsideration, to better warn against using these restraints in vehicles equipped with air bags.
