NHTSA Allows Importation of Nonconforming Classic Cars

Summary

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that certain noncompliant classic vehicles, including 1993 Moto Guzzi Daytona motorcycles and select passenger cars from Mercedes-Benz and Alfa Romeo, can be imported into the US due to their similarity to compliant models and ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
