NHTSA Proposes Exemption for Rolls-Royce Motors, Ltd. from Average Fuel Economy Standard
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has proposed granting Rolls-Royce Motors, Ltd. an exemption from the average fuel economy standard of 27.5 miles per gallon for model year 1997, and establishing a lower alternative standard of 15.1 miles per gallon for the same model year.
