Jaguar Granted Exemption from Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard

Jaguar Cars Limited has been granted an exemption from the vehicle theft prevention standard's parts-marking requirements for a high-theft line of vehicles. The agency determined that the standard equipment antitheft device would be as effective in reducing theft as the parts-marking requirements.
