DOD, GSA, and NASA Agree to Implement Environmentally Preferable Products in Federal Acquisition Regulation

Summary

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed to an interim rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to incorporate policies for the acquisition of environmentally preferable and energy-efficient products and services, following review under Executive Order 12866, dated September 30, 1993.
