The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) published a final Interpretive Ruling and Policy Statement 94-1 on June 3, 1994, updating the rules and regulations for Federal Credit Unions. The rule, which was pending Office of Management and Budget approval, was published in the Federal Register after approval was received.
