The North Pacific Fishery Management Council has submitted Amendments 31 and 35 to the Fishery Management Plans for the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Area and the Gulf of Alaska, respectively, to implement the Modified Block proposal and discourage excessive consolidation in the Pacific halibut and sablefish IFQ program.
