History Colorado Completes Inventory of Human Remains, Finds No Cultural Affiliation

Summary

History Colorado has completed its inventory of human remains, in consultation with Native American tribes, and determined that the remains do not have any cultural connection to present-day tribes. Representatives of any tribe that believes they have a connection can contact History Colorado, which may then transfer the remains to the specified tribes if no other requests are made.
