DOE to Revise Scope of Environmental Impact Statement for Naval Spent Nuclear Fuel Project at Idaho National Laboratory

Summary

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is planning to revise the scope of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Recapitalization of Naval Spent Nuclear Fuel Handling and Examination Facilities at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), as part of its Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP). This revision is in response to a previously issued Notice of Intent (NOI) from July 20, 2010.
