The U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is announcing the availability of approximately $1,988,000 in grant funds for community-based organizations to develop and operate technical assistance projects that improve the recruitment, hiring, training, and retention of women, including women of color and women with disabilities, in apprenticeships and nontraditional occupations. The funding opportunity is authorized by the Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations (WANTO) Act of 1992 and is expected to begin on July 1, 2016.
