Coast Guard Establishes Regulated Navigation Area on Illinois River to Mitigate Hazards from Dam Restoration

The U.S. Coast Guard is creating a temporary regulated navigation area on the Illinois River, restricting vessel traffic from Mile Marker 240.0 to 271.4, to ensure public safety and prevent accidents during the restoration of the Marseilles Dam.
