U.S. Extends Temporary Protected Status for Somalia by 18 Months

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Somalia for 18 months, from March 18, 2014, through September 17, 2015, allowing eligible beneficiaries to retain their status until September 17, 2015, as long as they continue to meet the eligibility requirements.
