Coast Guard Temporarily Alters Illinois Central Railroad Drawbridge Schedule for Maintenance

The Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation to allow the Illinois Central Railroad Drawbridge across the Upper Mississippi River at Dubuque, Iowa, to perform preventive maintenance, rescheduling the work from summer to winter when river traffic is lower, and enabling the bridge to open on signal with at least 24 hours' notice.
