Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill: Federal and State Trustees to Prepare PEIS for Early Restoration Projects and Phase III Draft Plan

The federal and state natural resource trustees for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill plan to prepare a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) programmatic environmental impact statement (PEIS) to assess the environmental impact of proposed early restoration projects and a Phase III Draft Early Restoration Plan (DERP). The PEIS will help the trustees analyze cumulative effects and streamline future NEPA analyses.
