USDA Withdraws Final Rule on Designation of Product Categories for Federal Procurement

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) withdrew its final rule on designating product categories for federal procurement, which was published prematurely due to an oversight in the development process. The rule, published on April 1, 2013, aimed to add eight sections to designate product categories for biobased products to receive federal procurement preference.
