USDA Adopts Final Rule for Washington Apricot Marketing Committee Assessment Rate

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for Washington apricots from $1.50 to $0.50 per ton, effective for the 2012-13 fiscal period and onwards, in response to decreased operating expenditures and a reduced manager's salary.
