Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Finalizes New Area Risk Protection Insurance Provisions

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) has finalized new provisions for the Area Risk Protection Insurance (ARPI) program, replacing the Group Risk Plan (GRP) and Group Risk Income Protection (GRIP) plans, to provide area yield protection and area revenue protection for farmers, starting from an unspecified date.
