Forest Service Proposes Permanent Ecological Restoration Policy for National Forest System Lands

The Forest Service is proposing a permanent policy to guide the restoration of National Forest System lands, taking into account the adaptive capacity of ecosystems and uncertainty related to climate change, following the issuance of an interim directive in 2008.
