NMFS Closes White Hake Trimester TAC Area to Prevent Exceeding Catch Limit

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is closing the White Hake Trimester Total Allowable Catch Area to common pool vessels until August 31, 2012, to prevent the fishery from exceeding its catch limit for white hake. This closure will slow the catch rate of white hake in the common pool fishery for the remainder of Trimester 1.
