NMFS Expands Vessel Capacity Certification Eligibility for Atlantic Mackerel Fishery

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is expanding the scope of individuals and entities eligible to complete vessel fish hold capacity certifications for vessels holding Tier 1 and 2 limited access Atlantic mackerel permits, and is also extending the deadline for submitting these certifications until December 31, 2013 or during a vessel replacement transaction.
