Ammonium Salts of Fatty Acids (C8-C18 Saturated); Exemption from the Requirement of a Tolerance

This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of ammonium salts of fatty acids (C 8 -C 18 saturated) applied pre- and post-harvest on all raw agricultural commodities when applied/used as a surfactant. Falcon Lab, LLC. submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of ammonium salts of fatty acids (C 8 -C 18 saturated).
