Certain Corrosion-Resistant Carbon Steel Flat Products from the Republic of Korea: Notice of Preliminary Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review and Antidumping Duty New Shipper Review

In response to requests from petitioners, the Department of Commerce (the Department) is conducting the tenth administrative review of the antidumping order on corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products (CORE) from Korea.\1\ This review covers three manufacturers and exporters of the subject merchandise: Union Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Union), Pohang Iron & Steel Company, Ltd. (POSCO), Pohang Coated Steel Co., Ltd. (POCOS), and Pohang Steel Industries Co., Ltd. (PSI) (collectively, the POSCO Group), and Dongbu Steel Corporation, Ltd. (Dongbu). The period of review (POR) is August 1, 2002, through July 31, 2003. In response to a request from Hyundai Hysco (HYSCO), the Department is also conducting a new-shipper review. The POR for the new-shipper review is August 1, 2002, through July 31, 2003. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
