The New England Fishery Management Council (Council) is scheduling public meetings of its Scientific and Statistical Committee, Social Sciences Advisory Committee, Habitat Committee and Advisory Panel, Groundfish Committee and Advisory Panel, Sea Scallop Committee and Advisory Panel, Gear Conflict Committee and Enforcement Committee in November, 1999 to consider actions affecting New England fisheries in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ). Recommendations from these groups will be brought to the full Council for formal consideration and action, if appropriate.
