Comprehensive Revision of Export-Import Bank of the United States Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act Regulations and Implementation of Electronic Freedom of Information Act Amendments of 1996

This document sets forth proposed comprehensive revisions of the Export-Import Bank's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act regulations. The regulations are intended to supersede the Export- Import Bank's current FOIA and Privacy Act regulations, found at 12 CFR parts 404 and 405, respectively. The Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im Bank) is proposing the following revisions in order to provide more ``user- friendly'' regulations that are consistent with current law, including the Electronic Freedom of Information Act Amendments of 1996. The proposed regulations also include updated fee schedules.
