Recognition of Agreement State Licenses in Areas Under Exclusive Federal Jurisdiction Within an Agreement State

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to amend its regulations to clarify that Agreement State licensees can seek reciprocal recognition of their license from the NRC when they are working within areas of exclusive Federal jurisdiction in Agreement States. The proposed amendments would also clarify NRC regulatory requirements for reciprocity and the appropriate fees and filing procedures applicable to Agreement State licensees operating under reciprocity.
