Business Loan Policy; Sale of Unguaranteed Portion of Loan

Pursuant to Section 7(a) of the Small Business Act (Act) 15 U.S.C. 636(a), the Small Business Administration (SBA) guarantees up to 90 percent of certain loans made by banks or other lending institutions. We are soliciting comments on how to proceed with a proposed rule which would permit participating lenders to transfer, under specific conditions, the unguaranteed portions of these loans.
