We are amending our regulations concerning payment of certain travel expenses to implement section 5106(c) of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 (OBRA 1990). Section 5106(c) amends certain sections of the Social Security Act (the Act) to limit the amount available for payment under those sections for travel expenses of individuals who represent claimants at certain administrative proceedings.
