New Animal Drugs for Use in Animal Feeds; Laidlomycin Propionate Potassium

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of a new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Syntex Animal Health, Division of Syntex Agribusiness, Inc. The NADA provides for the use of laidlomycin propionate potassium (CATTLYST ) Type A medicated article to make Type B and Type C medicated feeds for improved feed efficiency and increased rate of weight gain in cattle fed in confinement for slaughter.
