Availability of Draft Management Plan for the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve

Notice is hereby given that the Florida Department of Environmental Protection has prepared a draft management plan for the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve. Comments will be accepted on the draft plan for forty-five days after the date of publication of this notice. The Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve was designated in 1979. Pursuant to the Coastal Zone Management Act and implementing regulations, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection has produced a five-year management plan that provides a course of action for managing the site from 1993 through 1998.
