Implantation or Injectable Dosage Form New Animal Drugs; Butorphanol Tartrate Injection

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Fort Dodge Laboratories. The NADA provides for the use of butorphanol tartrate injection in cats for the relief of pain caused by major or minor trauma, or pain associated with surgical procedures.
