Oral Dosage Form New Animal Drugs; Penicillin G Potassium in Turkey Drinking Water

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) filed by I. D. Russell Co. Laboratories. The ANADA provides for use of penicillin G potassium powder to make a turkey drinking water for the treatment of erysipelas caused by Erysipelotrix rhusiopathiae.
