BOEM to Hold Final Oil and Gas Lease Sale in Gulf of Mexico in June 2012

Summary

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has prepared a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Central Planning Area (CPA) Consolidated Lease Sale 216/222, a proposed oil and gas lease sale scheduled to take place in June 2012, as part of the 2007-2012 5-Year Oil and Gas Leasing Program in the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) of the Gulf of Mexico (GOM).
