US Fish and Wildlife Service Revises Endangered Status of Monardella linoides ssp. viminea
The US Fish and Wildlife Service has revised the endangered status of Monardella linoides ssp. viminea, a plant species, due to the recent taxonomic change that split it into two distinct species, Monardella viminea and Monardella stoneana. The revised listing maintains the endangered status of Monardella viminea, but removes protections for Monardella stoneana, which does not meet the definition of endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973.
