BOEM Authorizes Use of OCS Sand Resources for Martin County Hurricane Storm Damage Reduction Project

The U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has issued a Record of Decision (ROD) to allow the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Martin County Board of Commissioners to use Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) sand resources for the Martin County Hurricane Storm Damage Reduction (HSDR) Project, following a 30-day wait period.
