Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau Amends Distilled Spirits Standards to Include Cachaça

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau has amended the standards of identity for distilled spirits to recognize Cachaça as a type of rum and a distinctive product of Brazil, following requests from the Government of Brazil and discussions with the Office of the United States Trade Representative.
