NIJ Publishes New Standard for Criminal Justice Restraints

The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) has released a new standard for criminal justice restraints, NIJ Standard 1001.00, which is set to replace the existing NIJ Standard 0307.01 for metallic handcuffs, and can be accessed at https://ncjrs.gov/pdffiles1/nij/247988.pdf.
