Medicare Program; Changes to Ambulatory Surgical Centers Patient Rights Conditions for Coverage

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has revised the ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs) conditions for coverage (CfC) to require patient rights information to be provided to patients, their representatives, or surrogates before surgery, aligning with the principles of the 2011 Executive Order 13563.
