HHS Finalizes CO-OP Program Rule to Expand Affordable Health Insurance Options

The US Department of Health and Human Services has finalized a rule to establish the Consumer Operated and Oriented Plan (CO-OP) program, which aims to create consumer-governed health insurance issuers in all 50 states to increase access to integrated care and accountable health plans in the Affordable Insurance Exchanges.
