FGDC Endorses Comprehensive Coastal and Marine Ecological Classification Standard
The Federal Geographic Data Committee has adopted the Coastal and Marine Ecological Classification Standard as the first federal data standard for classifying coastal and marine ecosystems, enabling a common terminology for ecological and habitat units.
