OSM Submits Information Collection Request for Petition Process to OMB for Review and Approval

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) has submitted a request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval of a petition process for designating Federal lands as unsuitable for certain types of surface coal mining operations, following the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
