USDA National Organic Program Announces Draft Guidance for Organic Product Handlers

The USDA National Organic Program (NOP) is releasing a draft guidance document for accredited certifying agents, certified operations, and non-certified handlers of certified organic products, with the goal of informing the public on current thinking on handling bulk, unpackaged organic products. The NOP invites comments on the draft document, with a final version expected to be released upon its approval.
