Tongass National Forest Wrangell Ranger District; Alaska; Wrangell Island Project Environmental Impact Statement: Update on Environmental Review Process

The U.S. Forest Service is publishing a new Notice of Intent (NOI) for the Wrangell Island Project, following changes to the project's purpose and need in response to public feedback, nearly 12 years after the initial NOI was published in the Federal Register on December 27, 2010.
