Oregon and Washington Pears: Assessment Rate Decrease for Processed Pears

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for Processed Pear Committee from $8.41 to $7.73 per ton of summer/fall processed pears, effective for the 2011-2012 and subsequent fiscal periods, due to a decrease in the promotion budget for that period.
