FSIS Publishes Compliance Guide for Residue Prevention and Agency Testing Policy for Residues

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has released a compliance guide to prevent violative residues in livestock slaughter establishments, which can be accessed immediately on its website. The agency also invites comments on the guide and announces plans to increase testing for animals from producers under FDA injunction due to drug use practices.
